This movie is better than it had any right to be.  James has never really been able to make the leap into legitimate roles, but he is really good in this movie.  While the movie is beautiful to look at, it is the chemistry between the two leads that makes the movie.  In particular, if you can watch this movie and not fall in love with Nicole Grimaudo, you’re a stronger human than I am.   The secondary characters didn’t work, and the movie often struggled with flow, but the core of the film is too good to ignore.
