An aspiring twenty-something writer accompanies her equally reluctant younger sister and their deliriously happy parents on vacation where she navigates her family's expectations and her own desires.
The good news is that we are getting close to the point where we can have movies about families that include members that might be gay, trans, etc, and their differences aren’t the point of the movie (admittedly, we have a LONG way to go in this area). The bad news is that these films can be just as mediocre as any other film. This film didn’t have much to offer, and I had forgotten about it before the credits finished.
