Overview
Fran likes to think about dying. It brings sensation to her quiet life. When she makes the new guy at work laugh, it leads to more: a date, a slice of pie, a conversation, a spark. The only thing standing in their way is Fran herself.
This movie isn’t going to be for everyone. As someone who is an introvert and has sometimes struggled witch social interaction, I was fascinated by the main character. She was clearly in pain and fighting the urge to maintain her isolation, but what really showed through was her hope. There was a real courage in there that I don’t think that most would understand.
