Overview
Princess Leia is captured and held hostage by the evil Imperial forces in their effort to take over the galactic Empire. Venturesome Luke Skywalker and dashing captain Han Solo team together with the loveable robot duo R2-D2 and C-3PO to rescue the beautiful princess and restore peace and justice in the Empire.
I hadn’t seen the movie since I was a kid so it was interesting to see it again after all of these years. It is largely as a remember it – the beginning of the movie was quite slow and it didn’t really kick in until Han and Leia show up. Part of the reason that the movie picks up then is because Luke is really such a whiny child. Anyway…. it definitely sets up for the (far superior) sequel.

My Review
