Superman, a journalist in Metropolis, embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent.
Full disclosure: I am not generally a fan of comic book movies, although I did enjoy the hell out of Gunn’s other works. I don’t have a feel for who Superman *should* be, but I liked the way that he was portrayed. I think the problem with making these movies is the character itself. Superman is all-powerful, unless kryptonite is around. So what is going to happen in the main conflict? We all know what was coming. There was nothing exceptional about this movie.
