In his review of this film Roger Ebert said that people held a grudge toward this movie because it is silent and it was filmed in black and white. He gave it 4 stars. I’ll accuse Ebert of liking this film too much because it was in black and white and silent. All in all, it was just ‘ok’. Not nearly worth the credit it got.
