While on the surface this is billed as a sci-fi movie where a woman is caught in an infinite loop. But really the sci-fi angle is really more of a device used to tell a story and the subtle themes in the movie (meeting each other at the right times, insecurity, etc) are really the reward for a patient viewer. I thought that I would be bothered by the sci fi aspect but once you just accept it there is a nicely-layered film that I really enjoyed.
