My views on the movie have nothing to do with the source material or anything like that. After all, this was about mythology. It is sad that this movie has become a lightning rod for the right-left debate. Of course, this completely overshadows the work that Nolan does in this film. He took a piece of mythology from centuries ago and used it to tell a cautionary tale about the dangers and pitfalls of power and leadership. Of course, the zealots that log in to tell us that this movie is “woke” will never see the true meaning of the movie because the tv has told them to put this idiotic lense over everything. It never occurs to them that the world didn’t change in 2016, the message on their tv did.
