I am writing this review after watching it for the second time (and probably 20 years after first seeing it).  I don’t know if it holds up that well.  After all, the movie is really built around two twists (or one, if you connect the dots).   On a rewatch, I couldn’t help but wonder why I didn’t see it all the first time I saw it.  The kid carries the movie, of course.
