Overview
Feeling pressured to become more sexually experienced before she goes to college, Brandy Klark makes a list of things to accomplish before hitting campus in the fall.
Why had I not heard of this movie? It is easily Aubrey Plaza’s best work. The most amazing part about the whole thing is that the premise (a high school grad has to accomplish a list of “activities” before going off to college) sounds like so many other paint-by-numbers comedies, but the movie has a real depth to it if you look a little underneath the covers. I think that is part of the beauty of this film – you can watch it on a lot of different levels. I suspect that many people missed the deeper themes that were on display. This is easily one of my favorite movies of the year.
