The Unbearable Lightness of Being

I have to admit that I had higher hopes for this movie.  It aspired to be an epic and it just never reached that level of storytelling.  There are a lot of parallels to Cold War but that was a FAR superior movie.  Juliet Binoche was very good playing a character that did not require a lot of range.  Daniel Day-Lewis was…. odd?   At different times his accent sounded like The Count from Sesame Street or John Travolta.  The best thing about this movie was easily Lena Olin.
