Overview
Under small-town scrutiny, a withdrawn farmer’s daughter forges an intimate friendship with a worldly but reckless new girl in 1960s Oklahoma.
This is a movie that does a nice job of bringing together several themes: coming of age, homosexuality, life in a small conservative town, etc. I thought it was a good script and well acted. Not necessarily groundbreaking but certainly worthwhile. The two leads are excellent.
