Overview
An isolated family, having already lost four members to poisoning, uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople.
One of my favorite things about this film is that there is a bit of a discovery that takes place during the movie. As the great Patrice O’Neal once said, sometimes he wishes he knew how to watch a movie. It takes a while to figure out where this one was going – is there a mystery? Are there many mysteries? Something supernatural? Are they all delusional? I thought that the journey was fantastic and that the ending fit the movie. I really enjoyed it.
