As with so many other romantic comedies, the blueprint has been set.  In this movie you have Jim Carrey doing his best Jim Carrey and you introduce an angle (always saying yes) and a conflict (always saying yes isn’t always a good thing).   The script follows the plan well enough and the movie is…. fine.  Nothing more, nothing less.
