When the writers sat down to make this movie, they had three things in the bag already: Location, attractive people, and the plot of While You Were Sleeping. The real question is, could they bring anything new or fresh? That answer is a resounding “No”. This felt like a cutesy and often cheesy retelling of that story. Of course, because of that attractive people and location, the movie isn’t completely without appeal. I can’t imagine wanting to make movies, and then making predictable schlock like this.
