Overview

As bass guitarist for a garage-rock band, Scott Pilgrim has never had trouble getting a girlfriend; usually, the problem is getting rid of them. But when Ramona Flowers skates into his heart, he finds she has the most troublesome baggage of all: an army of ex-boyfriends who will stop at nothing to eliminate him from her list of suitors.

While something like this isn’t my usual cup of tea I really enjoyed it.  I enjoy when an author will use a device to tell a story – in this movie the video game aspect is a means to portray the baggage that we all have when it comes to past relationships.  I recently saw The Infinite Man – it used time travel to achieve the same end.  While not everything worked it was still a fun watch from start to end.  If nothing else it is a stunning movie to look at.
